Consulting · Growth & RevOps

Growth you can forecast, not just hope for.

Finovo Consulting is fractional revenue leadership on retainer. We find where revenue leaks between marketing, sales and client service, rebuild the system underneath, and run it with your team until growth is predictable.

The problem

Activity isn’t the same as growth.

Most firms we meet aren’t doing too little. They’re doing plenty. Campaigns run, tools hum, reports arrive. But growth stays lumpy, attribution stays murky, and leadership can’t say with confidence which efforts drive revenue.

The problem isn’t effort. It’s that no one owns the path from first inquiry to retained client. Marketing owns the top, sales owns the middle, service owns the end, and revenue falls through the gaps between them. Owning that path is what revenue operations is for.

Three reports. Three versions of the truth.
How we work

Four steps from scattered effort to one revenue system.

Step 1 · Diagnose

Find where revenue leaks.

Every firm loses prospects between stages. The leaks are rarely where the dashboards point. We trace the full path, from first inquiry to retained client, through your CRM, your inbox and your calendar, and size each leak before we touch anything.

2No shared definition of a good leadMarketing and sales argue about quality.Fix: lifecycle stages both teams sign off on.

4Proposals go quietNo one owns the follow-up.Fix: sequenced follow-up and a weekly pipeline review.
5Handoff to service drops contextNew clients repeat themselves.Fix: automated onboarding, reviews and referral asks.
Step 2 · Prioritize

A few high-leverage moves, not forty initiatives.

An audit always turns up more fixes than a team can absorb. The plan ranks them by revenue impact, effort and what depends on what, then commits to the handful that move the number. Everything else waits its turn.

Example
Sample 90-day plan from a RevOps audit
Backlog: 40 possible fixes
Plan: first 90 days
  1. 1Route every inquiry to an owner in minutes.Closes the biggest leak first.
  2. 2Agree on lifecycle stages and lead definitions.Everything downstream depends on it.
  3. 3Rebuild pipeline stages with exit criteria.Makes a real forecast possible.
  4. 4Build one leadership scoreboard.Ends the three-reports meeting.
Step 3 · Rebuild

Fix the system underneath, from the foundation up.

Automation on top of messy data just makes mistakes faster. So we rebuild in order: clean data first, then shared definitions, then pipeline, then automation, then reporting. Each layer can trust the one beneath it.

  1. 1

    Data & CRM foundation

    One clean source of truth.

    • CRM audit: duplicates, stale records, missing fields
    • Objects and fields designed around how you actually sell
    • Clear ownership and entry standards for every field
    • Integrations that write back to the CRM
  2. 2

    Lifecycle & handoffs

    Definitions both teams agree on.

    • Lifecycle stages and lead definitions
    • Lead scoring and routing rules
    • Handoff standards from marketing to sales to service
    • Referral and partner source tracking
  3. 3

    Pipeline & forecasting

Deals that move, numbers you can plan on.

    • Pipeline stages with exit criteria
    • Stale-deal alerts and next-step discipline
    • Weekly pipeline review and forecast
    • Capacity math: is there enough pipeline to hit the goal?
  4. 4

    Automation & AI workflows

    The busywork, handled.

    • Instant routing and first response
    • Nurture and re-engagement sequences
    • Onboarding, review and referral workflows
    • AI-assisted meeting notes, summaries and data entry
  5. 5

    Reporting & attribution

    One scoreboard leadership trusts.

    • Source-to-revenue attribution
    • Stage conversion and velocity reporting
    • Leadership dashboard built on agreed definitions
    • Monthly scorecard for partners or the board
Step 4 · Run

Run it together, month after month.

Systems decay when no one tends them. On retainer, we run a steady monthly rhythm with your team: review the numbers, pick the next moves, ship them, and report what changed. Every quarter we reset scope against your growth goals.

Ownership

We build it. You own it.

Everything we build lives in your accounts: the CRM configuration, the workflows, the dashboards and the documentation. We work in the CRM you already run. No agency lock-in, no black box that breaks when the engagement ends.

Ways to engage

Start with an audit. Stay for the system.

Questions

What firms ask before they start.

What is RevOps?

Revenue operations is the job of running marketing, sales and client service as one system: shared data, shared definitions, connected tools and one set of numbers. In most firms no one owns that job end to end. That’s the gap we fill.

Do we have to switch CRMs?

Usually not. Most firms get more from fixing the CRM they have than from migrating. If your platform truly can’t support how you sell, the audit will say so and lay out the options.

How is this different from a marketing agency?

An agency runs campaigns. We fix the system those campaigns feed: how leads are captured, routed, followed up, converted and reported. When campaign work is the right move we do that too, measured against revenue, not activity.

Should we hire a RevOps person instead?

Maybe, eventually. A fractional engagement gets the foundation built by someone who has done it before. We document everything and train your team, so a future hire inherits a working system instead of a cleanup project.

How does this work with compliance?

Compliance is part of the design, not a final hurdle: approval steps for client-facing content, communications routed to your archiving system, and sensitive client data kept out of tools that shouldn’t hold it.

How soon will we see results?

Quick fixes, like routing and follow-up gaps, often land in the first month. Structural changes to pipeline and reporting typically show up in the numbers within one to two quarters.
